Cinnamon Banana Bread

This recipe is one of my favorites and so simple. All of these ingredients are pantry staples, so there’s no need to have to run out to the store. Plus, I’m not a fan of wasting food and this banana bread is perfect for using up those browned bananas headed for the trash. There’s nothing better than cutting a warm slice and adding a touch of butter. Delicious!

  • 1 Egg
  • 1 tsp Baking Soda
  • 1.5 cups Flour
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1/4 – 1/2 cup Sugar (it all depends on how sweet you want the bread to be)
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1/3 cup Butter, melted
  • 1/2 tbsp Ground Cinnamon

Instructions

  • Preheat over to 350ºF
  • Mash bananas in a large mixing bowl.
  • Add Egg, Baking Soda, Flour, Salt, Sugar, Vanilla Extract, Butter, & Cinnamon. Mix well.
  • Coat a loaf pan with oil or cooking spray. Add batter to the pan and spread out evenly. Cook for 50 – 60 minute. You can check if it’s done by poking a toothpick into the center of the bread. If it comes out clean it’s ready to take out.

Don’t be afraid to make this recipe your own. Add chocolate chips or chopped pecans to the mix. If you’re feeling daring add both.
