Slow Cooker Pork Carnitas

I love me a taco, but sometimes changing it up isn’t a bad thing. It’s actually a really good thing when it comes to these Slow Cooker Pork Carnitas!

Slow Cooker Pork Carnitas
Ingredients
- 2 lbs Pork Loin
- 1 Navel Orange
- 1 Lime
- 2 Chilies in Adobo Sauce
- 1/3 cup Water
- 1 tbsp Chopped Garlic
- 1 tsp Cilantro ground
- 2 Bay Leaves
- 2 tsp Chili Powder
- 1/2 tsp Ground Black Pepper
- 1 tsp Salt
Instructions
- In a crockpot add in all of the ingredients except the Pork. Mix well.
- Place Pork into crockpot and coat with mixture. Cover and cook on high for 4 hours.
- Turn the crock pot off and remove the Bay Leaves and Chilies. Shred the Pork.
- You can serve with tortillas and your favorite taco toppings or steam up some veggies and serve on a bed of rice.
