Slow Cooker Pork Carnitas

I love me a taco, but sometimes changing it up isn’t a bad thing. It’s actually a really good thing when it comes to these Slow Cooker Pork Carnitas!

Ingredients
  

  • 2 lbs Pork Loin
  • 1 Navel Orange
  • 1 Lime
  • 2 Chilies in Adobo Sauce
  • 1/3 cup Water
  • 1 tbsp Chopped Garlic
  • 1 tsp Cilantro ground
  • 2 Bay Leaves
  • 2 tsp Chili Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Ground Black Pepper
  • 1 tsp Salt

Instructions
 

  • In a crockpot add in all of the ingredients except the Pork. Mix well.
  • Place Pork into crockpot and coat with mixture. Cover and cook on high for 4 hours.
  • Turn the crock pot off and remove the Bay Leaves and Chilies. Shred the Pork.
  • You can serve with tortillas and your favorite taco toppings or steam up some veggies and serve on a bed of rice.
